• CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

  • At Ernströmgruppen, we consider strong ethics and morals as important to a long-term approach as our responsibility to minimise our negative environmental impact. This not only applies within the companies, but also when choosing
business partners, producers and suppliers.

We have divided our corporate social responsibility into the following three areas:

    • We are currently supporting

    • COLLABORATIONS

    • THE ROYAL SWEDISH ACADEMY OF ENGINEERING SCIENCES (KUNGLIGA INGENJÖRSVETENSKAPSAKADEMIEN)

    • By initiating and stimulating contacts between various nations and areas of expertise, the Academy serves as a multidisciplinary bridge builder between the business and research communities, public administration and individual interest groups for the purpose of developing Swedish industry.

    • WWF

    • The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is an important champion for preserving the world's biological diversity, promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption, and ensuring a sustainable use of renewable natural resources.

    • THE YELLOW BOATS (GULA BÅTARNA)

    • The Swedish rescue project Gula båtarna carry out emergency operations on behalf of the Swedish Sea Rescue Society. Thanks to their missions, countless people have been saved from drowning in the Mediterranean while fleeing war and unrest in their home countries.
The Yellow Boats are rescue units in the so-called Victoria Class, self-righting rescue boats specialised in rescue missions at sea.

    • ERNSTRÖMGRUPPENS, ULLA OCH GERHARD HOBOHMS STIFTELSE (FOUNDATION)

    • The foundation’s main focus is to promote scientific research and provide financial support to aid organisations, often locally based. Decisions on the allocation of grants are made once yearly. Applications must be received by the foundation no later than 1 March of the current year.
